James Lane is a theatre producer with expertise in the development and establishment of live entertainment brands, having produced and presented theatre, arts & culture festivals, comedy and music across the UK and internationally.

Combining a broad industry network with previous experience in marketing & advertising, public relations, event promotion & management and creative development, James works to explore and realise the live potential of both new writing and non-live entertainment – enabling existing brands, IP rightsholders and creative talent to further leverage their existing output.

James studied at University College London, reading History of Art & Philosophy with a focus on non-European art and performance in the Late Middle Ages. James has worked previously for the Universal Music Group at Decca Records, for AKA, a worldwide entertainment advertising & marketing agency, and as founder of Indigo Productions, a theatrical development company.
