Alissa Klusky is a multi-hyphenate theater artist and community programmer with 5+ years of administrative experience.

Alissa joins the Crossroads Live NA team as a recent DMV-transplant of only a few years. After graduating from Baylor University with a Theater Performance degree in 2020, she worked in the healthcare industry as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager. She made the move to Maryland to join the DC-area's vibrant theater community as the Dramaturgy Associate at Olney Theater Center where she was the Production Dramaturg for their 21-22 season.

She was also the National New Play Network Producer-in-Residence at Theater Alliance where she supported the 22-23 season’s new play development projects, produced work, and travelled internationally with A Global I.D.E.A.

In everything she does, Alissa advocates for joyous discoveries and collaboration without ego. Alissa is an LMDA Conference Scholar, Kennedy Center Directing Intensive Alum, and NNPN Affiliated Artist. She has interned with Ojai Playwrights Conference, Samuel French, and Clubbed Thumb. She is also a freelance dramaturg who specializes in new work development. In addition to her professional work, she is also a passionate advocate against Interpersonal and Sexual Violence.

Alissa’s favorite place to be is in rehearsal, but when she’s not making theater, you can find her playing with her dog Nugget, embroidering, reading on her Kindle, thrifting, or baking something delicious!
